Hales Passage

Sitting at the edge of Puget Sound is this ultra modern and super posh residence, a stunning example of David Hopkins Design’s bold and inspirational work. The steel and raw concrete structures serve as both support elements and an aesthetic enhancement with distinct lines and a strong, yet organic presence. The prominent cantilevered roofline doubles as a patio cover and compliments the tall, distinctive stuccoed and cedar exterior components. The home rests seamlessly into the surrounding natural environment of the Fox Island shoreline and naturalist landscaped grounds. In contrast, the interior space is subtle and crisp, allowing the remarkable Puget Sound views to take center stage. An inhabited work of art, indeed.

Structure

Post and beam, steel and concrete, anchor the structure. This approach allowed for massive and open gallery-like spaces inside.
