This updated interpretation on a mid-century modern home was created using a blocked design approach.  Opposing surface textures and colors in wood, stone and metal were used purposefully to make the segmented structures appear almost as individual homes pushed together in an appealing nature. Remarkably, and with design confidence, the inside spaces come together with cohesion and unity. The surfaces and interior elements use modern and industrial touches in a mostly warm comforting beige color pallet that has a timeless appeal. Pops of color throughout embrace the owners personality and collection. The home includes two expansive window walls in both the living room and the dining room, both with an impressive ceiling height, joining the two rooms with the expansive deck. The outdoor spaces are equipped with fire pits, large overhangs, walkways and art, all designed for taking in the outdoors and entertaining. The home’s many textures, styles and inspiration merge to work seamlessly and perfectly together.
